Fish and Chips on Green Lanes
I know this is being discussed in another current thread, but can we have a dedicated thread for the new fish and chip shop opening on Green Lanes near Harringay Green Lanes station? Yes, we can. Not least because it looks quite big and interesting, eg, restaurant and takeaway.

Toffs in Muswell Hill - not worth the trip (IMHO)
George's - OK (ditto)
Priory Fish Bar - OK (ditto)
New one that might be called Hashtag Fish and Chips - fish fingers crossed that it's excellent.
I really am quite excited.

This is how the local restaurant owners generate business and we should support them in it. I've bumped into loads of people outside Gokyzu that I know from other places in London who are there because it's the top rated restaurant on TripAdvisor.
If you really want the lowdown you'll have to look on here ;)

I checked out the FB page and didn't see any reviews? I'm sure I'll try the chippy at some point but I still don't like the name or the sign. It already looks dated.

In this case I believe the ends justify the means and caveat emptor.
It's also a healthy dose of cynicism over those "free restaurant reviews" on things like Tripadvisor for the good members of HoL.
