London Marathon Fundraising Appeal for the Haringey Friends of Parks Forum

Please support Marathon runner Tony Healy - and help raise funds to support Haringey's Friends Groups
  
Tony Healey, who is the manager for Haringey's parks in the west of the borough, has decided to run this year's London Marathon on Sunday April 26th. As a great supporter of community involvement in our public parks and green spaces, he has decided to raise funds for the Haringey Friends of Parks Forum. 

The Forum is the independent and very successful umbrella organisation and network for the 40+ local Friends of Parks groups of Haringey residents who are active in ‘taking ownership’ of, promoting, protecting and improving our parks and open spaces. Friends groups organise regular meetings of the Forum every 2 months, attended and supported by the Parks Service. The Council is publicly committed to active partnership working with Friends groups and the Forum.
 
The money raised by donations for Tony and his Marathon run will go towards the Forum's work, including the publication of Walking Guides for borough-wide walks showcasing Haringey's fantastic green spaces.

How you can donate

The Friends Forum have set up a special donate button (via PayPal) on their website's home page. 
Click on: www.haringeyfriendsofparks.org.uk (home page, left hand side). 

All donations made between now and April 30th will all (100%) be put towards the Forum.
