Jamies Italian in wood green!
Went to sainsburys local opposite morrisons near the whether spoons in wood green and overheard a conversation from two people in same 99p stores that Jamies italian is to open in wood green this summer! does anyone else have any more info

Would be a clever move, the all you can eat buffet inside the shopping city now has one hour queues on the weekend, there's certainly enough punters.

Another corporate chain - just how many corporate food chains does Wood Green have, I wondered?
McDonalds, Nandos, Burger King (Shopping City) - and?
How about coffee shops: Caffe Nero, Costa Coffee (Shopping City) - and?
It doesn't even have a Starbucks, how rare is that?
Any pizza joints/Italian restaurant chains (Prezzo, Zizzi, Pizza Express, Carluccio), French-style (Cafe Rouge, Cote, say)? Not that I can see.
Strikes me that the corporate chain eateries are missing compared to many high streets. Happy to be advised otherwise.

Cooperate chain, I didn't say food chain. I like the 99p shop, I by my polish fresh coffee in there but I guess a Jamie's could work. It could draw in trade from Harringey and Crouch End.

Currently, in order of distance from N4/N8, Jamie's Italian is at The Angel, Threadneedle St, Covent Garden, Piccadilly, Canary Wharf, Stratford (Westfield), Greenwich, Shepherds Bush (Westfield), Richmond, Kingston and Bluewater, with another 25 or so around the UK and a handful of international ones. Chances of an N22 opening are ??% - faites vos jeux....
