Nice cheap flat for a family now the comercial use obviously has been superseded by the Internet ? Or a gallery full of art about the lack of social housing in the local area ?

You could team up with one of your existing or a new sponsor and work with a nearby food bank to provide 'creative opportunities and free food'.

Many marvellous people do not have enough to eat and it must be even harder to make progress creatively in that situation.  Providing a place that honours the value of creative people (oh and did I mention the food is free) might be a great way of putting a more 'friendly face' on capitalism...

Chris, we have Crop Drop co-working and hope to be doing "People's Kitchen" style events too.

Good news! Thanks for the reply.

Where is this going to be located?

Turnpike Lane.

It would be really good to have more community meeting space. There is a great shortage of places in the centre of Haringey that groups of 12-20 people can meet in for committees, group discussions etc. at affordable cost. Especially since Council owned community centres and quite a few church halls won't permit political parties.

It's one of the things we aim to cater for please drop me a line ingo.pless@haga.co.uk for more info.

How's this project going, Ingo?
