Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

As I was based in Leicester in 1992 when this picture was taken, my Quasar playing memories are from that part of the world. Happy carefree days. Wish this one was still close by. The kids would love it.

There must be some Harringay space rangers/bandits out there...

Took my then 10 year old son to this many times, 20 years ago! It was the best Quasar ever, miles better than the crummy Archway one.....

I think I went to this in 96-98ish when I was a student, I don't have a specific memory but I suppose it must have been this one not Archway as we were living on Frobisher Rd at the time. Memories from that era also include my Saturday job in Iceland, the little cinema near Turnpike Lane tube and a shop in Wood Green called Benny Dee's that sold dresses and shoes for £2.

ME!!!! I loved it... Gutted when it closed. Although I still remember it as the Curzon Cinema too... I have a good memory for a 21 year old...

Remember my friends going there from all points of North London,  too broke to go myself, but I gather it was the dogs nads

Yep we went too and also remember the novelty of it opening after the cinema closed.   Shame - we could have had a nice little art house cinema now.

I did, when I was about 13 - I remember not knowing where the hell I was in London, having made such an expedition from Tufnell Park.  I also remember it very clearly as the first time I heard Nirvana as they were pumping Nevermind out over the speakers. The whole experience was pretty mind-blowing at the time.
