Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi, we just moved into a new house and wanted to sort out the garden before winter kicks in.

We have only a small patch to grow on, so wanted to build a Huegelbed. We would need wood logs, branches, tree cuttings and are super happy to just collect them.

Sounds really interesting Marlia - good luck with it. What will you grow? I don't have any logs or branches but hopefully others will do ..

(I had to google what it was - there a link here if anyone is interested!)

I wondered what on earth this was, but was really interested to see pics. Sadly I do not have anything for you other than 2 bags of garden clippings sat out front that you are welcome to, but good luck, and would love to see it when you have it complete!

Yikes! I'm just having two large leylandia cut down in my garden in Muswell Hill. The tree people will be back at 8.30 in the morning to finish cutting up the main trunks. They have to pay to dispose of them so would prob be glad for you to take some. I wont be there till 10.00 so if you're interested phone me on 07958975495 Philip today!

Hi Philip

I'd be interested in some logs if Marlia doesn't take it all.

Thanks for all your replies!

As soon as its set up, I'll post a picture here (I got the idea from the Finsbury Edible Landscapes garden - Def. check it out!).

Billie, I am trying to figure out how to transport the logs from Muswell Hill to St. Anns Road (where I live). I don't need many (there seem to be plenty), but it also seems I won't be able to collect them at all.

Hi Marlia

I might be able to help out with transport.

I'lll send you a private message.

A *what*???...

I have some logs and also some stones if you want them. The stones are bagged up and the logs are in the house.

Susie. If Marlia  does not want them I would be happy to take them. My sister in law has sent me some Mushroom spore dowels and I need some logs to grow my mushrooms on!!! Get me!

Save me some stones please Susie X

Whoever wants the stones and logs, let me know as Maria seems to have sorted out her log problem now.

I live at Turnpike Lane, so if you can come and collect that's great as I don't have transport.

Thank you. Susie

Also, my logs are quite big, not at all like the ones I've seen for making this type of thing. Good for the garden or for fires I would imagine.

B W Susie
