Thanks Michael... i will find out today who the landloard is and make my complaint. I really find it so depressing! I will obviously going fwd find the money/loan and get double glazing and of course 'sound proofing' with enought poblems already.
Thanks for this Jonny maybe i'll pass this on to the landlord when i find them - as their tenants have been partying since they moved in 2wks ago
Thanks for this Jonny.
I gather from this paper it would be up to the landlord to renew/not a contract if they felt their tenants were causing unreasonable behaviour.
This happened to me when I moved to a quiet Suffolk village, next door to what I subsequently learned was social housing. In the end, I moved back here, 6,000 miles away, to escape. When crime was re-labeled 'anti-social behaviour' it became the height of cool. Blame the 'me' generation and an inadequate system of justice. I've saved the link just in case, sad reading though it makes.
You can find who owns the property by searching on the Land Registry website. It cost £3 last time I did this.
these might give you some information
best to stop such behaviour before it becomes a habit

I am the landlord of one property. If I get a complaint from a neighbour I am on it right away. If the landlord is other than a grasping slum type that is the best way to go. Don't spend money on soundproofing yet! Actually making a lot of noise and getting complaints from neighbours is a breach of standard tenancy agreement and gives the landlord carte blanche to give notice. We once had neighbours who spent the summer evenings up very late in the back garden yapping away till dawn. I had a word and it turned out they were the nicest guys(actors/performers) who had a 'bohemian' lifestyle. They had no idea and never had any more probs. Yours sounds a bit more serious but a severe check from the landlord or agent should do the trick. Let us know?
