Hmmm, it seems that @haringeyvotes are nowhere near as much fun as you and me were, back in 2010. I think they've scheduled their tweets and gone home (and who can blame them?)

Turnout in St Ann's 32.50%

Turnout in Seven Sisters 36.97%

Turnout in Harringay 40.52%

Turnout West Green 33.74%

Results for st ann's are in. Significant labour victory.

I haven't counted up ( it's 630am) but looks like greens have done very respectably in second place. Which is something...... :-|

Whatever the results, I think a big vote of thanks is due to Hugh for his immense amount of work in keeping us informed over the past few weeks.

Hear hear
Harringay all labour.
Stroud green all labour
Lib dems had 7 seats with Muswell hill , the last ward to be declared , being recounted
Lib dems have all of Highgate, one in crouch end and 3 in two other wards in the west of the borough
I'm going to bed now!
Greens did really well all over, it's game on for the general election. :)

yayyyyyyyy - that's great news

But inevitable.  Such a shame that local elections have, for too many, become simply a way for the electorate to express its feelings about national government.

Agreed. I do think that local council elections are as much about the personality as well as the politics. A good hard working councillor is worth more than any politics they your you have.

I'd like to thank David and Karen, both fantastic ward councillors, who have given help to me and my neighbours over the last few years

That's good of you Michael. I am sorry not to be able to work alongside David and Karen.
