Mobile Version
Hughhhhhh! Its driving me nuts!! Im on iPhone:
I log on via the net via Twitter, since the mobile version I have to log on using a password... whats my password/login? I registered via Twitter :(
The app/widget where the news is, doesnt show up on the phone as a forum category :(
When I go to 'desktop view' and then click on a subject, it goes back to mobile view
The comments are not in order, they are nestled within comments as replies
How can I 'opt' out of mobile view completely?

There's only one way to deal with this.... just use the desktop site on your computer....DUHHHHH!

Neville, just tried your suggestion but the length of extension cable I needed on my journey to Newcastle proved unworkable. £3 for a coffee, toilets blocked at Doncaster, man building Forth rail bridge from beer cans, fights in the buffet, man siting next to me who knows all about immigration policy, etc, etc.

Hi Seema. I think like most mobile versions, the HoL one does cut out some functionality. Personally, I just use the desktop view on my iPhone and it seems just swell. Having switched to that option, it seems to stick with it. Are you saying that you can't get it to stay with the option you choose?

Doesn't stay on desktop view on mine Hugh - changes back every time I move page. That's a samsung but had the same problem with a sony xperia. Also I can't reply to threads from mobile site. But since I last complained about it I have got a little more used to it! But would opt to not have mobile site at all if possible.

Sorry Hugh, I thought I replied... Exactly what Gillian said... I go to desktop view and when I move page/thread/forum it reverts back.
Replying back can be a problem with some posts
Also that news forum doesnt show up at all.
