Cool. Missed it at The Tricycle.

Should do well for BGC too, maybe bring in new audience.

Me too so it'll be my first time at BGC. First of many I hope.

Fantastic. i too intended to catch this at the Tricycle and failed to get tickets . how wonderful to see it being shown locally !

If you're interested in this play watch & comment on my new film posted below ' Tottenham riot: Local Stories 2011'

We saw this at the Tricycle and thought it was very good - excellent job by Gillian Slovo (of course) and good performances by the cast. The most striking bit for empyrean_spouse and I was hearing in detail about how events unrolled on the afternoon the unrest began: you hear perspectives from people who were right in the middle of the march to the police station, and who report on exactly what happened when. Nice use of the map of Tottenham too. Slovo has a definite take on the causes of the riots, but the play is pretty upfront about this - it's not like it's pushing a hidden agenda. If you like good contemporary theatre, or even if you don't and you want to understand a little more about what happened last August, I'd definitely encourage you to go and see it.

Booked and looking forward to the show! BGAC is good value too. Standard-priced tickets a shade over a tenner.
