Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

A Post about Post!! Are you waiting for a letter that never arrives?

Here on Warham Road we're getting increasingly concerned about the number of letters received for Wightman Road and we're guessing vice versa -yes we know they both begin with a 'W' but their post codes are quite different.  Just this week I took an important tax letter to our equivalent number house on Wightman but to date our mis-delivered letters are never redirected.

Do other residents have the same problem? Do we need a petition?

Thanks Alex, eye-opening. Difficult to imagine that in these connected times, there's no group set up to fight or just moan about the changes and challenge what's happening.

I had a quick browse to see what groups I could find on the Royal Mail privatisation and came up few links. Keep the Post Public Coalition seems to be about the closest thing I could find.

Other pages I came across:

Some newspaper stories on the sale:

Oh and Roy Mayall's 'overworked postie' blog might answer some of your questions.

Lets have a petition.

I'm town hall side of the liquid ribbon, and we've had this problem for years. Used to give the next streets letters back to postie but now I just write 'try this address' and underline their road. I suspect my vouchers got used by a temp postie.   Where my council tax demand went I don't know.
