Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Help.

I live on the Ladder. There are parking suspension signs on the roads in my parking zone due to the Festival taking part in Finsbury Park this weekend.

I need some clarification on the wording for the exemptions. I am unclear whether a visitor permit is exempt from the restriction.

I spoke to someone in the permit section of Haringey Council who didn't seem to understand what I was asking. He kept telling me to park on other roads within my CPZ, to which of course I explaine that all those streets also had the parking suspension. I also rang the suspension section to which I had had no reply.

Does anyone know whether a visitor parking permit is allowed during this period?

Also, what happens to deliveries?

Thanks

Looking at this which should be the same as what was posted though our letter boxes (double check your physical copy though. It seems visitors permits are still valid

Thanks Rich. I didn't get this. Very hopeful

I have not had anything through my letter box- but have read the notices. We have had the same question on our street too. This may help from a neighbour who chased them for clarification. Permits are valid.

Thanks.

The thing is I am not that stupid but customer care people seem to be.

Rant over

I'm so annoyed that residents have to use their visitors parking permits during times we wouldn't normally have to... I get it that we need to restrict parking but why should we be penalised... We are paying out while the council are making money... This happens every year... Its not right
