The Krankbrother event in Finsbury Park which takes place in August has grown in a few years from an event that lasted 2 days with a capacity of 3500 people a day to an event lasting 6 days with a capacity of 9999 people a day. The northside of the park still hasn't recovered from last year's event, and the damage this year will be even worse with the increased duration and capacity. This event should not take place in this part of the park. If you are concerned about this, please sign the petition below.

I have signed, can’t agree more. Aside from the destruction of the park these festivals invite drug dealing and antisocial behaviour on an industrial scale.
Kotkas, you are so right. Why are they allowed anywhere? It's madness.
Yes, better suited to south London if at all.
Yesterday I saw a red woodpecker in the park for the first time.
I've signed the petition as well.
I have signed it. I do feel for those who live nearby in particular. This growing usurpation of public spaces should be halted, apart from the negative impact it has on the environment. Thank you for setting this
We've been raising our concerns and voices for years now and always get the same response from the Council that it's all so beneficial for us all. But the park suffers, local residents suffer for increasing periods of time. Enough is enough.
Signed the petition.
Beneficial to us all! You couldn't make this up.
Thank goodness it's not 10,000!
