Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Best and worst Haringey (and Enfield) GP practices as rated by patients
NHS England commissions the GP Patient Survey annually and this year’s results show that nationally 71% of patients described their GP as ‘good’.
One surgery in Haringey dramatically outperformed this figure, boasting more than 90% in patient satisfaction. However, the very lowest in Haringey, The Bridge House surgery in Harringay scored just 42%.
More typically, the best scores in Haringey were 85%.

Not surprised that Bridge House came out bottom - practically everyone I know has jumped ship from that practice, including me. They closed the door in March 2020 and only recently started admitting people to the building again - meanwhile the few patients lucky enough to get a face-to-face appointment were kept waiting outside in all weathers because the waiting-room was off limits. For anyone else, getting through to someone on the phone was often almost impossible. Dismal service.

I was a patient at Bridge House for many years and had very good service initially. The decline seems to be in the way the practice is run. I switched to Heron five or six years ago. It’s an amazing practice with a lot of stuff either on site or just around the corner at the John Scott Medical Centre. It was one of the doctors at Heron who diagnosed my cancer at a very early and treatable stage when I thought I was just suffering a minor inconvenience.
One of my friends recently switched to the new West Green Medical practice on Green Lanes and is very positive about it.

As another member of the Bridge House diaspora, I can confirm that the Heron Practice is quite excellent and well worth moving to. You'd never realise the NHS was crumbling if they were your only contact with it.

It's not on the list for some reason. I zoomed in on the map and found it and it says that it scored 80%.

Is there a particular reason why Bridgehouse have been super strict with opening up the waiting the room? They are one of the few practices that still have super strict Covid measures in place.
For all the flack this practice gets they still have superb doctors and have improved their phone service dramatically in recent months.
