Big shout out for Devran restaurant. No pigeon goes hungry!
Without these guys the street pigeons would go hungry and maybe they'd have to go somewhere else.

pigeons are bad enough! They kept nesting above our entrance (I know there's spikes which we used but they kept coming off in storms) and the amount of poo I had to clean, especially considering we had little kids.

If they're putting old rice out on the pavement then they need to be reported to Haringey enforcement as it will attract vermin.

Is it definitely them? We had a person who used to feed them regularly at the bottom of Warham by the side of the post office and Paddy Power with a carrier bag full of seed. It still happens but not as frequently. I wonder if he’s moved to a new patch?

So that slope you see the rice on is where they move and leave their bins. I stepped on to it last night coming home and nearly went flying as it was covered in grease. Not sure who to mention it to but it could do with a periodic clean as someone is going to get hurt on it. Conscious we have a lot of old people on this street.

I totally agree that people should not be encouraging feral pigeons by feeding them or giving them space to nest and drive one mad with their cooing and warbling. This prevents them from regulating their population naturally, so that we end up with millions of them pooping everywhere and getting on people's nerves in general.
But no pigeon ever asked to be born a pigeon. Sad, really.
