I might be a little bias but we have seen what good work Karen has done for Harringay Ward over the years and now with David as the new councillor (the only thing better would have been getting all three) I can see officers screaming thier names in the halls of the civic centre in the months to come.
That's not necessarily bias Markalex, it's judging people by what they actually do and personally believe, rather than using the shorthand of party membership.

I'm not sure how it applies to coucillors, but in principle in voting for an MP in this country you are voting for the person and their own stated manifesto. Their party membership is not what should be the decider. The party policy is, in theory, just an indication of what they believe. Then the Whips get stuck in...
Thanks Mark. We think you've forgotten to make your declaration that you stood as a Lib Dem candidate in St Ann's and are married to Karen. Probably worth doing that when making political posts.
As I've just been tweeting, now the interesting thing will be to try and understand why Harringay hasn't followed the pattern of the other marginal wards.
Because we are truly right in the middle of the Borough? We don't fully identify with Tottenham nor with Crouch End - we sort of embody the the split in the borough?
You're right, but the other marginals are also what's apparently referred to as central spine wards - Bounds Green & Noel Park. So wondering if it's something else.
I think DavidJ is basically right. The socio-economic mix in this ward reflects both sides of the borough. It has changed in the last 5-6 years. Makes Harringay ward interesting me thinks.
Do the other wards have something like HoL?

It has been a huge help to me anyway.
No, they don't Mark. Thanks for the feedback.
Hear hear
I agree very sorry that Nora has not got in.
Quite upset with my fellow voters over this. If you're going to return one Labour councillor, surely it would be Nora.
