Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

For those who are occasional users of the A10, a heads-up that TfL have reduced the speed limit from 40 mph to 30mph. I think this applies to a point north of the junction with White Hart Lane. Be on your toes, the cameras are apparently very active!

Many thanks

Yes, between White Hart Lane and the North Circular roundabout. The new 30 sign at the southern end is surprisingly small, presumably since it's effectively now just a repeater sign. I'd have thought a large sign would be a better contributor to road safety...

Also in TfL's programme is a reduction from 30 mph to 20 mph for "the A10 - A503 corridor in Haringey", not further defined by them.

My working assumption is the stretch of road between White Hart Lane and the northern end of Seven Sisters Road covering The Roundway, Lordship Lane, Bruce Grove and Tottenham High Road is what they mean. Work started yesterday.

Another such scheme is the A107 which runs from Seven Sisters Road by Woodberry Grove through Hackney to Whitechapel, so the northern section is local to Harringay.

That's interesting. Thanks Gordon. If it's the A10-A503 Corridor, it will also include Seven Sisters Road down at least to the centre of Finsbury Park (town).

Thank you
