HoL behaving oddly when using an iPad
When I get an email alert to a new posting the link no ,other takes me to the post but to the head of the thread
The Forum/Newest post thing no longer works
I can’t reply to an individualpost

I can’t reproduce the issue on either iPad or iPhone, Michael. Have you tried a hard-refresh?

On my Mac I can reply to individual posts, but I can't do this using my iPad. On the IPad I can only reply to the original post. Also on the iPad the editing tool bar is missing.
I don't know how to do a hard refresh on an iPad so I can't test that.

Have a go at this on on IPad Konrad
Settings/Safari/Clear Settings and Website Data
You’ll lose some automatic log ins and need to input your passwords on some sites (like HoL) When that’s done restart your iPad

Followed these instructions on the iPad. I still can't reply to individual posts, which is why I am replying using the Mac.
But worse! I now can't view any HoL photos on the iPad The instructions just wiped them all out. Other web sites not affected and the Mac is OK. Shutting down and restarting has no effect.

I’m wondering if we both suffered during the last software upgrade? I didn’t have any problems until I went to IOS 14.2. No other websites are affected for me (even after following the instruction I posted I’m having intermittent problems with HOL similar yours).
Hugh - do you know if the people who support this platform know of any incompatibilities with IOS 14.2 running on an iPad?

As an addendum, I had to try four times to post the reply to Konrad - it just hung after I hit the “Add reply” button
