Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Parking permits
I'm just trying to work out the different parking permits across the borough. Does anyone know if the permits for the Ladder are the same as West Green area (Waldeck, Langham, Carlingford, etc)?
If not, how do you get permits for that area if you don't live there? I could do with a day pass (or 4 hours would probably do) for West Green.

They probably won't thank me for advertising, but I had a proper little strop at the Help team on Twitter the other day about my permit number - they provided it to me within 20 minutes.

Thanks so much Dave W for the tip about Twitter! I contacted @contactharingey and it was all sorted in half an hour. I now have my parking permit.

This is good news... I fancy there’s a crack customer service team been assembled who have been trained to interrogate the systems and ask forgiveness not permission when dealing with the council departments.
This is undoubtedly a Good Thing, but does rather expose some of these departments’ self-importance.
