Haringey Council recently launched its new dedicated disabled parking bay policy, which ensures that Blue Badge holders get full use of the bays they have requested either outside their homes or offices.
This new policy ensures that applicants requesting a dedicated parking bay are now assessed on a medical needs basis.
As of August of last year, Haringey residents with ‘hidden disabilities’ can also apply for a Blue Badge and a dedicated parking bay as well.

Disabilities that might not need obvious mobility aids such as sticks, walkers or chairs but that can affect people's abilities to walk such as arthritis, dementia, brain injuries, Parkinson's and severe mental health problems. I'm sure there are others.
