Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Cllr Brian Haley, cabinet member for environment and conservation, and chair of the forum said:

“The enthusiastic response to this forum demonstrates that transport is a key issue in Haringey.

“Topics up for discussion included 20mph zones and speed limits generally, policy on motorcycles and electrification of the Barking to Gospel Oak line.”

I have . . . . . .
No such invitation received. Now there's a surprise :-)
This is disgraceful! How dare they have an event which is invite only about two issues that concern such a lot of people living in the borough?

Cllr Amin's political advisor must either be on holiday or a bit poorly. For goodness sake open it out to anyone who has an interest and don't disenfranchise those who work or have care responsibilities.

A weekend meeting perhaps? I'm feeling rather cross about this as you may have gathered!
As the buck goes whizzing by ...

" Cllr Amin has read your email and has asked me to apologise that you did not receive the invitation to the meeting this, regrettably was an oversight by her support officer. However for future information, transport issues are actually covered by Councillor Brian Haley Cabinet Member for Environment and Conservation and his support officer is Clare Bull. Any future issues relating to transport should be sent to Cllr Haley. "

Thank you

No community involvement and cohesion then ?
