Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Christmas tree kerbside collection
It's that time to get rid of the Christmas tree. Looking at the council website it talks about kerbside collection https://www.haringey.gov.uk/environment-and-waste/refuse-and-recycl... but there' no mention of which days you should put it out.
Does anyone know if it's any day, bin day, etc? Thanks

Same as your weekly collection day - mine was take by the same bin lorry that collects garden waste this week. Don’t forget to cut into metre lengths.

It was easy and collected without any mess or fuss (or cost). Makes me mad that people are dumping on the street when they can get it taken away (and recycled) for nothing

Thanks, I'll put it out the night before bin day then. I can fully understand why people are leaving them on the street on any day though, the council website makes absolutely no reference to what day it should be left out and after all the furore of garden waste having to be collected separately I wouldn't expect it to be collected on the normal bin day.
