Wireless 2019 given go ahead ... but don't swear

Wireless Festival has been given permission to remain in London's Finsbury Park, provided performers do not swear or wear "offensive" clothes.

Haringey Council granted festival promoter Live Nation a licence after a review called for by campaigners.

Hope your "set" would've been worked on a pair of technics 12-1210s (vinylism/turntableism! Tight in the mix (without a beat counter! :-) :-) I know a brother who can work four. "RAPATTACK" can remember him working some pitched up Beethoven under a masters at work beat, Tracey chapman guitar riff with a Shirley bassy track on vocals. Tight tight tight timing. Fettling the vinyl with both hands and busy with the cross faders. Beautiful.

They have been totally powned by Live Nation's lawyers.

I wonder what kind of mettle they'll be in when TfL ask to take a huge hunk out of the park alongside Seven Sister's rd for a new cycle way?

Well said. Leave north Londoners in peace. All this negativity and friction around is not good for the community.

And I find it very upsetting, that due to their court win, the money gained from events can only be spent on Finsbury Park, so all the other local parks loose out.
