    As I understand the position, the four-year rule means a notice has to be served. (A complaint is not enough.)

    On the other hand, some conversions create "Homes in Multiple Occupation" where the time limit is ten years.

    I'm not aware of a 'no conversions' policy for the Ladder streets. Please tell me more on this.

    Have you looked into the issue of conversions for temporary housing? I ask because, as a councillor (for another ward) I come across homes which have been divided and subdivided. Landlords and Buy-to-Let owners know they have a lucrative sellers' market where many London Boroughs (not just Haringey) are happy to place homeless people here.

    One linked issue is what happens when Planning Enforcement takes action on premises being used for temporary accommodation.
