Harringay online

Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I'm posting this for friends in Hornsey.

Reggie is a mainly black cat with with white markings, split ears and inverted front rib. Missing since 4 January. He has a bad skin condition on his stomach and legs. Please check sheds etc, He refuses to wear a collar. He lives near Hornsey police station but has been known to go quite far away!

If you think you've seen Reggie, please text /SMS 07973 819871. Many thanks.

Sorry to hear your friend's cat is missing, will keep a lookout. It will help people look for him if you can add some good close up photos.
Is he microchipped and neutered? If he is microchipped, remember to call the microchip company, tell them he is missing and check that they have owner's correct contact details.
It often helps to empty some contents of your hoover outside your home (or put out something which has his scent) as he will recognise scent even if quite far away. Flyers are useful, including roads with gardens backing on to his garden.
It's also a good idea to put details of a lost pet on www.animalsearchuk.co.uk with good close up photos, and it's free to do that.
The owners probably do this anyway, so this is just general advice to other cat owners out there - it's a good idea to lock the catflap at night so that cats are safe inside at night as it reduces the risk of them getting lost or injured.
Stokey Cats and Dogs are good at helping with lost and found pets, if you want to ask them for assistance. There are also good tips on what to do if your pet is missing on here www.stokeycatsanddogs.co.uk
