"David Bevan is about to present a new and innovative introductory botany course at the Highgate Literary & Scientific Institution:
“Wild Plants in their Places
An introduction to Botany”
David writes:
From the tiniest mosses to the tallest trees, plants have an impact on all our lives, but our understanding of them is often rudimentary. This course, which is suitable for beginners, will cover the identification and classification of British wild plants and their distribution and ecology, by means of live material, slides and field visits.
The first of two ten-week terms starts on Monday, September 22nd at 2.30pm at HLSI in Pond Square in Highgate. Enrolment starts on Tuesday, September 9th – so don’t delay! Full details of the Course, and how to enrol can be found at
www.hlsi.net or telephone David on: 020 8889 6375.
