To celebrate the first year, Running Jump Print Workshop is proud to present 1st Impression - an exhibition of members’ work at
Karamel. The exhibition opened on 11 September and will run until the end of October.
1st Impression showcases a range of original printmaking, diverse in both imagery and technique. It brings together 17 artists united by a desire to explore the limits of printmaking as part of their individual practice.
Running Jump Print Workshop was launched by artist Richard Peacock in August 2024. It is based at Collage Artspace5 in Wood Green. The Workshop has 3 presses and provides screen printing, relief printing (on an 1863 Albion Press) and an etching press. The membership (currently of 30) is steadily growing.
The Workshop also offers a range of courses to the wider-community.
Look out for our special PV/Open Evening on Thursday 16 October (5.30 - 7.45). This will be your chancebto meet many of the artists and learn more about the techniques they use. The evening will include a curator’s tour of the exhibition at 6.15.
The exhibition features exciting prints by 23 Workshop artists who use traditional printmaking techniques to make their work, including screen printing, photo-etching, wood cut and lino cut.
