Raleigh Road Street Party - 13th September!

Hello Everyone!

Next week, on Saturday 13th September, Raleigh Road are holding our End of Summer Street Party! 

We would love you to join us for an afternoon of entertainment, food, games and meeting the friendly folk of Raleigh Road.

The road will be closed from 11am to allow us to set up tables etc. Road access will be limited to residents access only, there will be marshalls to guide vehicles through as required.

We kick off the afternoon at 1pm with some kids entertainment, this will be followed by a mix of live music and DJs until 6pm. There will also be a selection of games to play.

We are encouraging everyone to bring and share food if they can. If you are able to make and bring a dish, perhaps your speciality that'd you'd like to share, then it would be lovely to add it to our spread. If you can't contribute it's not essential, you are welcome to join us anyway! 

We will also have a few stalls such as plants and bric-a-brac. All are on pay what you can basis. If you have any items like household goods and toys you'd like to contribute please do bring them along. Any not sold will be taken to local charity shops after the event. 

Funds raised from donations to the stalls, food etc will go towards the food bank run by the Gospel Centre at the end of Raleigh Road. We are also accepting donations of food stuffs/toiletries for the food bank.

We really hope you'll be able to pop along and say hello at some point during the afternoon.

Raleigh Road closed to traffic except residents 11-6pm ish.
