Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi everyone,

A cat recently showed up near our part of Endymion Road - she's shown up in our garden, but we've seen her regularly go down the road to about number 18 or 19, probably to sleep.

She was looking quite thin, so we've given her food, and, as is the way with cats, she now comes to us every day. She's actually quite friendly, and likes being stroked.

Thing is, she's now got a visible paunch, and we're worried she might be pregnant - and the way the she wolfs down food like she's never been fed, and hangs around for more food, this could be the case. We're not certain, though; we don't even know if it's female.

We were hoping to be able to get her into a pet carrier so we could take her to the vet or RSPCA to see if she's chipped, but she's very resistant, and we don't want to freak her out.

Seems like there's one of maybe three possibilities:

1. She's a stray

2. She's lost

3. Her owner has passed away, and she somehow got out

We're trying to figure out a solution - it seems the RSPCA won't come out to get her or check her unless she's in clear distress or crisis. Because of our situation, we can't take her in, much as we would like to.

In the meantime, could you guys take a look at the below pictures of her, see if she might belong to someone?

(We've taken to calling her Marble.)
