Well done Yvonne. Here's hoping there was a utility bill or something with an address on it in the heap. I highly recommended this app.

Yes I use the app all the time and the response is excellent.

But shame they can't respond like this to paid-for collection requests, which take weeks. If this could be rectified the fly-tipping might reduce.

Lucky you.  If you lived on a council estate they'd completely ignore you.

Have you tried using the app? Search in your App Store for 'my Haringey'. Once installed on your phone it detects where you are and links to your phone, you take a photo and send it off. Simple as that. I think if you use this system you'll get a response.

Many, many times, until I finally gave up.

Sometimes I get a message saying it's been resolved (or whatever management speak they use). When what they really mean is they've passed it to Homes for Haringey to deal with, while the Homes for Haringey caretakers say it's not for them to go shifting large fly tips around.

Once I spent a month reporting the same fly tip over and over until it was finally cleared.

Though nowadays they expect you to report through the Homes for Haringey app, and I don't seem to be able to get that to work.

Things like your experience really make smoke come out of my ears Sarah. Surely it doesn't matter one jot where the rubbish has been dumped, the speed of response and access to reporting should be precisely the same.
