Mezzo Restaurant Given Go-Ahead to Double in Size in Contravention of Council's own Policies
Mezzo Cafe / Restaurant was last week given planning permission to expand into the neighbouring premises.
We've learned that the LCSP and the GRA have identified that this approval is in conflict with the Council' sown local plan which restricts the number of non-A1 units (i.e. retail) on Green Lanes. They will be jointly approaching the Assistant Director of Planning asking her why her officers are prepared to ignore/override established planning policy.
