Harringay Traders Going Digital
Eagle-eyedness seems to be a trait shared by a few HoL members. So much the better for the rest of us. Today Liz spotted a new website in construction by the Harringay Traders Group. Fantastic! I hope they can get it up and running soon.
(The guy in the picture is Shefik Mehmet, Chair of the Traders' Group and owner of Cherie's Hair Salon - or ex-owner - not sure if he passed it on to his son or not).

Speaking of eagle-eyed, best drop them a line to suggest they put an extra letter r in the copyright line under the pic

I made this suggestion on another post (sorry, don't know how to link posts) that could we do that to create a "Harringay top table" as a revenue generation idea for HOL and also to benefit local shops and restaurants.

Have just been chatting with Rob Chau (of Tao Sports) who's designing the site.
It sounds like he's doing a great job. The site will include a birds-eye view of Green Lanes on which you can click a premises and get more info + a link to the trader's website. He could add other layers of info like shop history etc.
My vision for a Digital Harringay takes one step more.
