Anti-social behaviour

Hi there,

We live on one of the roads off Turnpike Lane, back of Wood Green high st. Just wondered if anyone knew who the best person to contact is re anti-social behavoiur in general? Really chronic dog fouling, man on a bike in broad daylight urinating in the street yesterday, what looks like minor drug dealing, rubbish dumping. I know there are specific contacts at the council for the rubbish etc. but do you think the local councillor would be a good route or neighbourhood police?

I would alert all of the above. If someone can't help they will let you know, but the wider the complaint, the better. Email is good to local councillors , stressing the anti-social nature of it all and how badly it reflects on a main shopping hub etc. Then you could phone the police but make sure you keep a listing of when you phoned. - date and time - who you spoke to and a brief outline of what you said. Then send this to the local councillors in an email as well. Then they all.know that you are taking these problems seriously, and will be watching for results. Keep a record of what you see, and weekly or biweekly send another email with a listing of what has happened. Then keep your fingers crossed...
