There is a big heritage restoration project going on in North Tottenham which involves an education and participation element. There will be a team of 'Heritage Champions' who will get ten free training sessions.
Anyone can apply to join and the organisers are happy to includey oung people as part of the mix.
The organisers are currently confirming the last of the dates for the full training programme and these should be available soon.
The first session is at 3pm on 29 September at Bruce Castle Museum, Lordship Lane, and is open to all. This introductory session will include a welcome to the scheme, a talk by the architect John Knepler and some fun activities. There will be tea and refreshments.
