Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
URGENT! CUTS TO TICKET OPENING HOURS AT HARRINGAY - DEADLINE FOR PROTESTS IS TODAY!
First Capital Connect are proposing to change the ticket hall opening hours at Harringay station from Mon-Fri, 6.20am-2.15pm and Sat, 7.20am-3.15pm to just Mon-Fri, 6.20-10.30. THE DEADLINE FOR PROTESTS IS TODAY - please email complaints to customer.relations.fcc@firstgroup.com.
I think it's worth making the point that the ticket machine often doesn't work and also, following a serious assault at the station a few months ago, safety is a concern. A physical presence at the station is reassuring and a good deterrant to troublemakers. Also the staff are generally friendly and helpful. I think some face losing their jobs if these cuts go ahead. Please take a few minutes to email a message of protest if you use are concerned about these proposals. Thank you.

Just sent them my comments - coincidentally the ticket machine wasn't working this morning (and the office was closed) so I missed my train. Walked to Manor House instead, where I could buy a ticket. So First Capital Connect end up four quid worse off and I'm 20 minutes late for work...
