Short-term accommodation for visiting family - any ideas?

Hi Harringay!

I have family visiting from South Africa for my sister's wedding in August. My mum and sister are coming with my nephew and niece (a toddler and new baby) and those of us who live here have typically tiny London flats with no spare rooms, so we are looking to rent somewhere for them for about a week. Does anyone have any suggestions for short-term lets or other avenues to explore? Most of the sites I have visited (Airbnb, holidaylettings etc) show options in excess of £1000/week. Would be grateful for any suggestions!

Hi woody, thanks for sharing - what a lovely home. Unfortunately it's booked right over when we'd need somewhere (12-19 August). Will save this in case they come again!
