Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

This morning (Sat) there was a grey and white cat dead in Lakefield Road, just off Westbury Avenue towards Noel Park. It appeared to me that it had been killed deliberately by a person - I really do not want to write details

I called 101 and reported this - although unfortunately, in my confusion I have a wrong street name. The police also advised me to contact the Council - which I did, with the correct street name.

If anyone is missing a pet with this description - I am really sorry

Thats a funny story by the way.

Hi
Are you sure this wasn't a dog attack ? My cat was killed by a dog in my front garden two years ago near the Turnpike Lane area.
A

omg, that is so shocking. Makes me want to keep my cats in, but wouldnt do that as they love going out just to stroll around my garden mostly and watch the wildlife. I think it would be cruel to keep them in, even if they do live longer, as long as your not near a road and they are kept in at night

Cats are fine living indoors if that's what they've always known. But aren't we all near roads? And when I used to have a going-out cat, he decided when he came home, so keeping him in at night wasn't really up to me to dictate! My indoors cat had a perfectly happy life

It isn't cruel - that is just how you feel about it (which isnt a bad thing - just not correct).
