Libraries in the UK are loved, valued and were visited an astonishing 265 million times last year! Libraries are a vitally important public service.
Celebrate them on National Libraries Day, Saturday 6 February 2016.
Join your nearest library, it's FREE. All you need is two forms of ID.
Borrow from your library: BOOKS (of course) but also DVDS and CDS. You can also use the free ebooks library (you just need a pin number from the library)
Visit your nearest library - try Stroud Green and Harringay which is just over the bridge at Harringay Station.
Read with your nearest library reading group.
Recommend a good book for fellow library users.
Research - your library card gives you access* for FREE to all these sites including the Oxford Reference Collection *some will require a visit to the library and are not available from home.
plus you can see some art, learn a new skill, watch a free film and much more and all for FREE!
Love your library. Use it, love it, join it!
