Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

This is so cheeky I just had to post it and see what others thought. This poor bloke in Walthamstow has had someone else with a car similar to his rack up nearly £6K in fines for illegal parking, bus lane offences and probably speed cameras. They just copied his licence plate.

There is nothing stopping anyone doing that... is there?

Not much you/we can do really. I work in the Taxi trade and some get stolen so they can have cloned reg plates and licence plates (the one on the bootlid) put onto them. The grief other drivers get is unbelievable. I feel for them.

Basically, the unlicensed driver in the unlicensed taxi is going through the C charge zone, through bus lanes and carrying people around.

It's a scary situation but no one's come up with a car cloning beating idea.....yet!
THERE'S AN AEROSOL SPRAY THAT CAN BE BOUGHT VIA THE NET THAT WHEN APPLIED TO A NUMBER PLATE RENDERS IT UNREADABLE FOR CAMERAS ALTHOUGH THE HUMAN EYE CAN SEE NO DISCERNABLE DIFFERENCE. APPARENTLY, YOU CAN AVOID PCN'S AND CONGESTION CHARGE WHICH ARE CONTROLLED BY CAMERAS ONLY.
I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW IF IT WORKS AND WHETHER IT'S ILLEGAL.
If there are any number plate nerds on HoL, can I recommend a site of a friend of mine. (I have a vestige interest, as there are couple of my photos there!).

Of course, there are typefaces that prohibit changes to Number Plate letters...

EdiT: the link to the french number plates has been amended to EU number plates
No it doesn't work - sorry :-)
Neither do the penis enlargement pills (allegedly).
