Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Dear Thames Water <customer.feedback@thameswater.co.uk>

I live along the New River in N4 London.  I first wrote to you about an unsightly mess your workers have left along the New River last month.

I also tweeted your Twitter account:

A few weeks ago one of your associates called and indicated this would be dealt with, but so far nothing has happened.

Today some of your contractors came through to "clean up" and mow the lawn.  Note "cleaning up" meant throwing rubbish from the sides into the river, which they did until we complained to them at which point they began collecting rubbish.

In any case, they explained that it was different contractors responsible for the bags of concrete under loose plastic with the yellow construction barriers, and they can do nothing about this mess.

Can you please have someone deal with this?

Regards,
Michael

P.S.: While you're at it, could you please re-iterate to your lawn mowing contractors that they should be collecting and properly disposing of riverside rubbish, rather than throwing it in the New River, as we witnessed them doing?

Disgraceful. It's almost as if they were criminals doing work in the community instead of a prison sentence. Oh wait...

Noticed this too as I live next to the river. Also why do they have to do it on a Sunday when people are trying to relax? Very noisy :-/
