Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi,

I haven't seen my cat for about 24 hours now, and getting a bit worried. He's a completely black, quite vocal 2 year old, missing from Frobisher Road N8. He's often out and about (and probably in and out of other people's houses judging by the things he 'borrows'), but he's never been away all night and day before. He's microchipped, and please do get in contact if you think you may have seen him.

Good luck, and I'll look out for him but he's unlikely to have gone as far south as my road - Umfreville.

Thank you for giving your road - so many people in your position don't, and it's vital information.

Fully understand your worry! Our cat went missing for 5 days once and then on the fifth day just turned back up next to my bed wanting his breakfastThere's plenty of tips online of how to hunt for a missing cat. One which I thought worked was using a piece of clothing with your scent on it and tying it to something outside. I'd also use Google maps and see if any gardens near by have sheds etc that your cat may get stuck in

He's back! The little blighter swanned in this morning at 4am, 48 hrs later, for jumpy on the chest and push his head into my head times. Very relieved.

Thanks for your concern.

Great! You might ground him for today or tonight to reinforce where home is, if that might work.

I'm glad you found him! Also well done for having a microchipped cat, if only everyone were so sensible and got their cats microchipped and neutered.

You probably do this anyway, so this is just general advice to other cat owners out there - it's a good idea to lock the catflap at night so that cats are safe inside at night as it reduces the risk of them getting lost or injured.
