Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi everyone!

Could anyone possibly recommend a local Architect who can draw us scale plans of our house?

Should be really straight forward - just need someone who's reasonably priced!

Thanks!

You might not need an architect, and you might actually do it yourself if you can get yourself one of the infra red tools that measure distance (depending what you need it for). An Architect will charge you a mint. A surveyor might be much cheaper.  We used Hassan Djaffer 07412 198 517 recently for some work and he was very straight forward... Give him a call and see what he says.

Alternatively an estate agent might be able to do it for you...

Great - thanks

I'll give Hassan a call!

I would not suggest to use plans drawn by an estate agents even to buy a sofa: it wouldn't fit.

All estate agents plans I have seen are too basic and not accurate
Agree with Justin. When I employed an architect he actually subcontracted the scale drawins to a surveyor.

Cool - cheers for the advice!

Anyone know a surveyor that would be able to do this?

In my office we seldom subcontract the drawings to a surveyors. We have done it few times for big scale building where it was not possible to make it ourselves.

For single flat and small houseshouseswe do it ourselves. If there is a agreement for works/planning the survey is included in the agreed fees otherwise it can be done on a hour base charge.
Hi,

If you need a survey and house plans as they are than I agree please contact a surveyor.
However if you would like to develop for any alterations/applications perhaps it is worth considering an architect.
Please feel free to contact me at paterprojects@gmail.com.
Being an architect ( based in Hornsey)

We do carry out house surveys ourselves and are reasonable priced:)

Hello Simon, I am a local architect and i specialize in residential work.  Realise I've seen this post a little late now, but i'd be very happy to pop round for a free consultation if you are looking to extend or remodel, and quote for you.      I run a small practice  www.31architects.com    registered with RIBA and ARB (architects registration board)

thank you, Shelley
