Alice, there is a recommendation for a good plumber on page 4>, may be worth a look.

Hi, we always use Charlie of CAJ Plumbing 07710043110. He is fantastic, local, tidy, and good value. He has lots of recommendations on here and trustatrader.com.

I've recently used Chris Miles - of Miles better Plumbing 07872 909592.

Did some re-routing of pipes, new gas point, tidied up some medieval plumbing, with valves and stopcocks in useful positions.

Would recommend him strongly.

My partner and I have been using and recommending Milo Heating for over 12 years for all kinds of plumbing jobs from leaking taps and radiators to boiler repairs and new installations. We've never had any complaints. Milo Heating is Gas Safe registered as is Lisa (07811444564). She is friendly, always explains what she is doing and why, tidies up and her prices are very reasonable.

I have always used Chris Williams (07753269667) and wouldn't use anyone else. He fitted my bathroom a couple of years ago and done a few other bits and bobs for myself and my neighbour since. He's local (stroud green), works efficiently, makes sure things have a beautiful finish and to top it all off is a genuinely lovely chap!

I've also used Chris Williams (this morning in fact) he's very friendly, locally based, upfront with the cost and also managed to work out the obscure plumbing system which my flat has!
