Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

....and the best place to get it on the high street is at the Antepliler baklava place, only available in the summer season. Turkish ice cream has a unique texture and I think contains a touch of chewing gum in it. Attached is a picture if the pistachio one I just had , sitting on one of the street benches when the sun was out!

looks delicious but I found the texture a bit odd. Might have to try pistachio next time.

It won't be the only place soon Pav, as you know. We've got Afters coming to the short-lived Hanci's premises just down from the Salisbury.

I think the chewing gum you are referring to may be mastic, a plant resin used in ice-cream.

Ice cream cheats ..............get some really good vanilla ice cream and pimp it.

Orange juice and zest, biscotti, rose essence.
Olive oil and salt.
Goats cheese and honey.
Avocado
Lemon zest and mint
Cashew nut butter
Sausage and chips.

( Haven't tried that last one.)
