Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

We've just moved to the area and will be doing major renovations on our old Victorian, but know there's lead paint present. We're not sure wether to leave it and paint over it or to remove it (and how best to remove safely). Any recommendations on lead paint removal companies, or experts who can advise on how to best deal with the paint? Many thanks.

Gordon's link to the DEFRA leaflet gives you the facts. the main health issue was if children picked at and ate flaking paintwork(kids WILL eat anything as parents know) Sound paintwork does not pose a threat and can be painted over without risk.
