Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Car Free day ..... feedback.
The family spent an 1 & 1/2 hrs up at WG today. Very pleasant for a change ... there being no traffic. Surprisingly there was also little traffic along the main roads and diversion routes.
There was a good mix of stalls, displays and activities, especially for a one off event. Liked the variety of food stalls (part farmer's market) and a good range of information stalls as well.
The atmosphere was calm and people looked happy for a change going about their business along our main shopping street. Certainly makes a change from the usual barging, frantic nature of the place.
Would be nice to see this done every Sunday and it would only get better.
