Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I hereby call on the moderators to delete posts that are immediately closed for comments. It is a cowardly, low thing to do.

This is not allowing others to talk. I guess I just wanted to point out that it's going on and one poster does it all the time. I think it's wrong to expect the admins to do something, I was hoping someone else would point that out to me...

Free speech will out - just put up a post with a very similar title and either copy/paste the closed discussion's text, or (if the other poster is likely to be protective on 'copyright' grounds) simply link to the closed post.

I take it that you've no objection to information-only closed posts like the FalklandRDMarket ones?

That's the one I object to. Always by the same poster. Always closed for comments.

I wonder what there is to comment about on a post that says 'At this week's market we're selling' or 'at last week's market we took these pictures'.

I do recall posts about the recent Tottenham Green market and the other Harringay market becoming rambling off-topic troll heaven - perhaps the FalklandRDMarket poster simply wants the post to stay on-topic.

I've no connection with any of the markets.

Ah, forgot the foodbank one, and in that case I agree comment was useful.
