Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi everyone - I want to alert the good people of Harringay to an explosion of variety at Railway Fields over the past few days.... more and more species... Tadpoles, Peacock Butterfly (image below), Blue Butterfly, Green Finches, Gold Finches, Gold Crest, Primroses, Green Alkanet, Long Tailed Chickadees, Forest Bugs, Woodlice, Stagbeetle. Doesn't matter if you don't know names. Take a quiet, gentle stroll, turn off the mobile and turn on your senses.   If you've not been, the entrance is just next the Railway Bridge near the Arena, Open 9 to about 5 weekdays and last Saturday of each month.

Excellent picture.

Dear Dick

Thank you. This one is off the Commons pictures on the internet - however yesterday we saw a real peacock butterfly at Railway Fields, feeding on white blossom. This was an extraordinarily beautiful sight and better than any photo.

By the way we  love your chutney and apple juice.

Here's one taken in my garden on Tuesday:

Wow! Thanks for glowing pic. Delighted it's about in the area.
