Greig City Academy student Tyrique praised by Met Police
The Metropolitan Police emailed Mr Scott this week to say that Tyrique, in Year 8, was walking through a park when he came across a man lying unconscious. Tyrique called the emergency services and gave them very precise details about the man’s location and condition. The police sent their thanks, saying that Tyrique was the only member of the public, in a very busy park, who contacted the emergency services.
Tyrique was presented with a Good Samaritan Award in assembly.

Just to add, some boys from Greig asked me for change for a tenner in Fairland Park not that long ago. They were the politest young people I have come across in years. It makes me smile when I think about it!
