Hi all.
I'm celebrating my 65th birthday by running the London Marathon next month, and am supporting the Leukaemia Cancer Society, a Haringey-based charity which benefits people far beyond our area.
Please have a look at my fundraising page https://www.justgiving.com/David-Schmitz or visit the Society directly on http://leukaemiacancersociety.org/
I'll be giving out frequent reports of the daily whinges and twinges that are supposed to accompany training for events like these. In the unlikely event that you want to read them, you can find them here or via Twitter at @schmitz_dr

Many thanks to the donors who have now got us up to one quarter of the £1600 target. The most recent gave yesterday, having heard about the project on HoL.
In the past week, I've managed one run of 20 miles and one of 15, both including hills, and there's the Harringay Hurtle to come - so I think I'll be giving the donors their money's worth!
All the best,
David
Thanks to an anonymous donor, we're now up to £485. So anonymous is he/she that even I don't know who it is. But, if you are an HoL user, I'll say "thank you!!" right here.
All the best,
David
We're now up to £545, or 34% if the way!
